Yesterday, students from all four Bremen High School District 228 schools participated in Cook County’s first-of-its-kind student voting pilot program. Juniors and seniors served as election judges and cast their first official ballots right on campus, gaining real-world experience in the democratic process.

D228 teachers took learning beyond the classroom at ComEd’s “Tools of the Trade” Professional Development Day! ⚡🔧

From hands-on rotations in crossarm assembly, cable components, T&S, and blueprint reading to discussions on skilled trades and energy careers, our educators gained real-world insight to bring back to our students.

Experiences like this strengthen our partnerships and expand career pathway opportunities across Bremen, Hillcrest, Tinley Park, and Oak Forest.

Welcome to the 52nd Annual District #228 Keith Anderson Fine Arts Festival  We are so happy that you are joining us this year as we continue our new festival format! Here are details for the day. This event housed in the West (Main Gym) is free and open to the public. We encourage family and friends to attend! If you have any questions please contact us for more information. A full program with participant names will be available at the festival, via QR code.  ● All buses will drop off students at Door W1, located on the West side of the school. ● Family and guests may park in the South lot and enter through the Athletic Door S8. ● Performances and Art Show are in the West (Main Gym). ● Light concessions will be sold in the cafeteria. ● Visit the college fair in the hallway that focuses on information with their fine arts programs and course offerings.
On Tuesday Delta Academy students toured Joliet Junior College's Culinary Arts Program in downtown Joliet. The tour provided students with a first hand look into all of the kitchens and additional information about what a career in the culinary arts can look like. We were also able to witness an ice sculpture demonstration, and got a peek at their two on campus student run restaurants, Saveur and Thrive!
