Bremen Community High School District 228 is proud to announce that all district facilities successfully passed the FY26 Health/Life Safety inspection conducted by the South Cook Intermediate Service Center (ISC) – Region 7, with no violations cited at any building.
The inspection, conducted on January 28, 2026, is required under Section 2-14.21 of the Illinois School Code and evaluates compliance with the Illinois Health/Life Safety Code for Public Schools (23 Ill. Admin. Code 180). The review included the District 228 Administration Center, Bremen High School, Hillcrest High School, Oak Forest High School, and Tinley Park High School.
According to the official FY26 report dated January 30, 2026, no violations were cited at any of these buildings. Additionally, the report confirms that all violations noted in the FY25 inspection have been fully addressed.
The ISC Health/Life Safety team commended the district for its commitment to maintaining clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities, stating that facilities throughout Bremen Community High School District 228 are clean and well maintained and encouraged the district to “keep up the good work.”
The inspection team also expressed appreciation for the collaboration and professionalism of district staff, highlighting the active participation of building administrators during on-site walkthroughs.
Superintendent Dr. Brad Sikora thanked the district’s operations and maintenance teams for their continued dedication.
