Coaches Meredith Madden and Rachel Wnenk compiled the joint statement below:

“We are both so proud of the success each athlete achieved at this year's 2024 Spring Games. This year's fantastic five stayed dedicated to working hard at practices, supported and encouraged one another on and off the track, had fun during their events, and showed the true spirit of a champion. We are additionally excited and looking forward to bringing Jamari down to the Summer State Games to represent Team Braves as he competes for his second year in a row for the softball throw.”
