Criteria for Selection to Alumni Hall of Fame

  Tinley Park High School is currently accepting nominations for selection to the first Alumni Hall of Fame.  We invite you to recommend distinguished alumni who have brought honor to Tinley Park High School through their public service, generosity, career achievement, loyalty and/or character.  Nominated Alumni must be ten years removed from their graduating year.  All nominations will be reviewed for three consecutive Hall of Fame selection years.  Nominations must be resubmitted after three Hall of Fame selection reviews to remain active.

  Completed forms are due no later than the last day in May.

Hall of Fame Alumni will be honored during Homecoming Week.  The selection committee will conduct a phased selection process:

   

Phase I:  APPLICATION REVIEW.  Each application will be reviewed by an independent Selection Committee.  The Selection Committee will evaluate each application based on the nominee’s qualifications.  If the nominee meets three of the five criteria, the application will move on to Phase II.

   

Phase II:   NOMINEE  -  NOMINATOR INTERVIEW.  Each nominee and nominator will be interviewed by a sub-committee of the Selection Committee.  Interviews may be conducted in person or by telecommunication device at the discretion of the Selection Committee.

  Those who are selected to the Hall of Fame  will be notified by July 31, and will be asked to attend the award ceremony during the week of Homecoming.
