Student & Parents
Welcome to the web page
for Bremen District 228 students and parents. Please look to this
page frequently for information regarding the education of District 228
students.
For your convenience, a list of frequently asked questions
is provided below. If you have an individual question or comment,
please contact the Administration
Center to be directed to the appropriate person.
-
What information do I need
to register my student?
Three proofs of residency (i.e. utility bills, lease, mortgage
papers), a birth certificate, transcript, an Illinois transfer form
(if previously attended a public high school in Illinois),
guardianship papers (if applicable), a current physical with booster and immunization records.
-
I'm considering purchasing
a home in District 228. How do I know with certainty that the
residence is in District 228, and which high school would my child be
attending?
Each high school and the administration center have detailed maps that
describe our boundaries. Call with a specific address for
verification to either the local high school or the administration
center.
-
How do I find out about
general information regarding the district and individual schools?
An annual "report card" is published and available at each
school and the administration center.
-
How do I excuse my student
or get an "emergency" message to my student?
Call the Attendance/Deans Office at your school.
-
When are report cards sent
to parents?
Report cards are sent four times per year. They are sent in the
mail and should arrive approximately one week after a grading period
ends.
