Inspiring The Next Generation Of Teachers

SECOND SEMESTER

For the Teaching Internship program, the second semester allows the interns to apply the theories and methods taught during first semester by entering a feeder school classroom as a student intern.  The following describes some of the activities the interns will experience while in the classroom:

Working with students one-on-one, small group, large group, and the entire class

Creating bulletin boards for the cooperating teacher

Creating and teaching lesson plans

Learning the clerical functions of a teacher

Requirements for the interns
