Assistant Director

     Katherine Picht, a member of the Family and Consumer Science Department, is an experienced educator who is new to the Oak Forest High School Family.  She received a B.S. in Family Social Services at Northern Illinois University (2001) as well as her Family and Consumer Sciences teaching certificate (2002).  During her college years, Katherine worked for four years as a part-time preschool teacher and started to gain the experience of working with young children.  After graduating, she taught for one year at Shepard High School.  Katherine's family consists of her husband, Adam, and her dog, Daisy.
