Navigation Links
Example:
The links to your upper left are "Navigation Links." As you move through the site, you will be provided with a trail of webpages that you have visited. The example above displays your current trail. At any point in time, you can return to any previous page in your trail. Your trail will often cross paths with another trail. At this point, the website will select the most user-friendly trail depending on your current web page.
School-Info Links
Example:
The links to your upper right are "School-Info Links." These links will show up on every web page and will be the quickest route to phone numbers, email addresses, calendars, and other school-related info.
Global Links
The links directly to your left, where the footprints reside, are "Global Links" provided on every page of the website. They allow you, from any page, to link to:
1) The primary content pages (Academics, Athletics, & Activities)
2) Informational pages (Parent Resources & Teacher Resources)
3) IMC Resources
4) Your somewhat user-friendly "Site Map"
Search Engine
The text box in the upper right of every page is a search engine. It will use Google's search functionality, but only search the Oak Forest website.
