Educational Foundation

The Bremen Community High School District 228 Educational Foundation has been created to develop links among business, government and civic organizations which will enhance community support of programs and activities of students served by the District. The Foundation will channel funds to support and promote the educational programs and activities of students served by the Bremen Community High School District 228 schools.

Incorporated in 1989 as a nonprofit, autonomous, tax-exempt organization, the Foundation is directed by a board of trustees, private citizens who serve voluntarily. The trustees have dedicated themselves to generating and distributing financial and other resources to the school district in an equitable manner.

Projects
In distributing the resources, the Foundation will consider district wide, building wide and classroom projects and programs and all curriculums. The Foundation considers assisting the funding of substance awareness programs and mini-grants for innovative projects that assist District 228 students.

Ways to Contribute
There are many ways to become a member. An annual check or a pledge is always welcome. Alternative forms of donating include memorials, naming the Foundation in your will or as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, donating real estate, or other real property or giving a gift in someone's name.
